March 2010 It’s our annual membership drive and we hope you’ll join us! And bring a friend along too. Our meetings are held at the Visitor Center - call John at (970) 921-5252 for a schedule of dates and times. Here are some of the events we’re planning for 2010.
	April 24^{th, 3 PM}Flying adventures. Fun and games with Frisbees, Kites and Airplane flying on the peninsula.
	^{June 12th, 5 PM Pioneer Days: 5th Annual Cowboy Cook-off. Have a great chili, soup or stew recipe? Enter to win this year. Cowboy cook-off will be in Crawford Town Park. Tasting & judging at 5 PM. Fireworks at Crawford State Park at dusk.}
	^{July 17th Noon 3rd Annual Ducky Plucky Paddle & Potluck Beach Party The Friends group will provide Bratwurst and corn. Bring a dish to share and come play on the beach and in the water.}
	^{August 2nd Colorado Day: Free Day at the park. A variety of events are in the planning stages.}
	^{August 14th, 5 PM Cowboy Poets, Campfire and S’more’s}
	^{September 18th, 10 AM Park Clean up and Potluck One year a helper found a bowling ball…who knows what treasures you might find!}
	^{December Holiday Celebration and Potluck}
